OLBINSKI AND THE OPERA

In his latest book, "Olbinski and the Opera," Rafal Olbinski showcases a compelling collection of paintings that reflect his distinctive interpretation of classical opera. This work highlights his exceptional creativity and skill, earning him over 100 accolades, including prestigious Gold and Silver medals from the Art Director's Club and the Society of Illustrators in both New York and Los Angeles.

Featuring forty posters that span operatic masterpieces from Verdi's "La Traviata" to Britten's "Gloriana," Olbinski's art blends remarkable artistic sensibility with the rich narratives of opera's 200-year history. His ironic, modern perspective offers a subversive and surreal twist on traditional operatic themes, resulting in a book that embodies an erotic, playful, conceptual, and deeply personal homage to the classical opera world.
