John Young is celebrated as one of the premier aviation artists globally, known for expertly blending accurate technical representations with a deep sensitivity to the diverse moods of sky, land, and sea, making his landscapes standout treasures on their own. His true mastery lies in his ability to narrate stories through his art, encapsulating the atmosphere and romance of flight. With a career spanning forty years fueled by a passion ignited in childhood from Alan Cobham's Flying Circus and further matured through experiences during World War II and his National Service in the RAF, Young has honed his skills as he sought authenticity, flying in over sixty aircraft worldwide.
