SPACE WESTERN COMICS

Collects #40-46 plus more.

This is a way-cool collection on many fronts! With stories by Walter Gibson, famed creator/writer of The Shadow, and art by John Belfi, Stan Campbell, and Lou Morales... and space Nazis...Space Western Comics was one of the weirdest and most collectible series of the '50s. All the space madness is collected and restored here by editor Craig Yoe, including a "lost" story! Plus: a fabulous Frazetta/Williamson space adventure from Buster Crabbe #5, and by Mike Roy from #9! The cover says it all...Cowboys vs. Aliens, Commies, Dinosaurs and Nazis...what's not to like. The weirdest Charlton comic ever, morphed from far more conventional title Cowboy Western into something never seen before. And the Frazetta/Williamson story, oh man, it's EC quality material that got buried in a run of the mill title devoted to (then popular movie star) Buster Crabbe! Profusely illustrated intro by Eisner-award winning comics historian Craig Yoe.
